Early start the next day (5:45 am) in the dark but with the benefit of the full moon. Long day making the big crossing; started with 2-3’ on the nose, pretty comfortable but still a little nerve-wracking out of sight of land or any other boats. The waves picked up, on the beam, for a couple hours midday. Pretty uncomfortable. 🤢 Fortunately things settled down and got progressively calmer as the day went on. Had our first experience dodging crab pots about 30 miles off shore.
Pretty big relief to make it into Steinhatchee. Has dinner with Cool Change.
