Met at the boat then went to Lewis Barbecue, which Emily had recommended. Excellent food, great vibe, but odd to eat coleslaw off of paper! Drove 40 minutes to Cypress Gardens which seemed at first like a bust but the boat ride made the trip worthwhile. The cypress tree swamp was really beautiful and so different. Also walked the grounds and checked out the huge alligators (in captivity). Couldn’t get dinner reservations for tonight either, so we went to Folly Beach and had a pretty bad meal, but was glad to get out there.
