Someone hailed us on the radio to pass us, and the crew of Katoomba overheard, which tipped them off to our whereabouts. We had no idea they were anywhere near us—a pleasant surprise! They were going to stop for lunch somewhere but when we cruised by it looked way too tight for either of us to get in. So they anchored south of there and we went on to Camp Lejuene/Mile Hammock anchorage. It was pretty tight in the anchorage so it took a bit of doing to find a spot. Then after a couple hours we dragged (which we may not have noticed if not for the anchor alarm!). We reset and were okay although I didn't sleep well. Not a single boat, plane or helicopter from Camp Lejeune went by, which was disappointing given that others have described all kinds of activity there.
