Woke up early, rented a car, and cruised almost the whole length of the Outer Banks except Ocracoke and the northernmost part. The wild Cape Hatteras National Shoreline is pretty amazing—very unique. The southernmost town seemed like it might be cool. But everything is car-centric. The town of Duck did a good job with the boardwalk. So glad we rented the car and got to see the area since we had never been here before.
Got out at walked at two lighthouses, a YMCA park, and Duck. Then went grocery shopping and back to boat before dark.
Lots of discussion about if we should leave tomorrow or Friday and what if the package (refrig part sent by Phil) didn’t arrive on time.
